Longtime art professional, Todd Kurnat has spent most of his adult life as a commercial graphic designer helping underground heroes and above ground legends achieve their visual goals. From package design, album covers, user interfaces & experiences, event flyers and more, he’s got a storied creative career full of epic glory and a few flopping fails, too.

When Todd’s son, Oskar, was born in 2015, he decided to switch his creative gears to pursue his fine art dreams. Trimming down his creative services to studio commissions, art shows, public murals and graphic art.

Often working with ink and paint, Todd is drawn towards nature and chaos - finding inspiration in wildlife, botany, fantasy, and sound. His improvised approach to much of his work utilizes layered texture and complimentary colors highlighted with bold, clean lines, seeking harmony on each canvas he works with. You may have seen his work already, around town as a mural or on a human wearing one of his t-shirts.
