I'm very excited to announce that I'm resurrecting my all vinyl, music monthly called "Directions In Stereo". That's right, I'm dusting off my ol' dj handle and procured the last Friday of each month at 540 on Clement Street in the Richmond District of San Francisco.

Come on through as we hoist a drink and drop the needle a new era this Friday, May 30th. I'll be kicking out the jams from 7-11pm.

What can you expect? A positive vibe that celebrates music and the people who make it, covering an eclectic mix of genres, styles and eras.

Dj C73 will be celebrating the birthdays of Stephen Malkmus (Pavement), Stephen Duffy (Duran Duran) and Nicky Headon (The Clash). Plus, album-versaries from the Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, Paul McCartney and more. Theme-wise, his record bag will be full of songs that feature the guitar – tipping a hat to the incredibly, unique guitar playing style of Stephen Malkmus. Its gonna be a good time!

Lastly, but most importantly, I want to acknowledge 540 for creating a positive and inclusive environment for everyone. Their full bar with no crap on tap is one of my favs in the city. So, do join us as we wind down the week and kick off the weekend.
