So here we are, its mid-December and I'm feeling deep gratitude for being alive during a time when we have easy access to a gigantic amount of good music – new and old. Time and again this year, music has been there for me during the good, the bad, and frankly, for a most ugly fucking time period for humanity.
But I digress, I want to focus on the positive today. 2025 has been an incredible year for music. The output alone is staggering combined with the quality and inventiveness being at a tremendous level. As a lifelong music fan, this is fantastic, overwhelming, and ultimately an inspiring scenario. So much so, that I've returned for the second year in a row to put together this mixtape, celebrating and commemorating a fruitful year of amazing music – that can be returned to whenever and wherever we are.

The 2025 Mixtape is an eclectic mix of genres, styles, pace, and taste – and by no means comprehensive. In fact, it'd be better described as just the tip of the iceberg for 2025. I hope it brings some joy, comfort, and perhaps music discovery. Enjoy the mix!
